Richard Ebanks
Dentist
GDC 62677
BDS
After qualifying from the University of Birmingham in 1987, Richard had a brief period working in Hampstead, London, shortly after this he settled in Kent where his ambition, drive and passion to deliver the highest quality dental treatment paved the way for him buying his very own practice at the age of just 23. 36 years later Richard is a very experienced, well established dental professional who is highly respected among his peers. Richard has a huge following of patients that have quite literally grown up with him through the decades. Their loyalty reflects how much confidence they have in him and how happy they have been with the treatment and care provided over the years.
Richard build and owned one of the largest, most successful practices in the UK. After over 30 years of total dedication he decided he needed a change and handed the reins over to his accomplished team. He had a short sabbatical pursuing different interests and fulfilling important obligations before finding a site which would be both suitable in location and size to cater for the many patients requesting his time. Peters Village Dental was built from scratch by a team that was carefully selected to guarantee optimal patient care, who could deliver the highest standard of dentistry using the most advanced technology available to us. This approach is the blueprint to dental health and exceeding patient expectations. A formula tried and tested by Richard and his team over many years.
The goal is to create an environment where the patients feel heard and valued and that the treatment and service delivered are of the highest standard. Dentistry is a very personal care service, it is essential that patients feel comfortable. Richard prides himself on providing this to each and every patient, he also demands the continuation of the practice ethos throughout the team.
Richard has keen interest along with an aptitude to match in carrying out root filling treatments. Root fillings are said to be one of the most complicated procedures in dentistry. Richard also has a special interest in sedation which allows even the most nervous patients access to dentistry, enabling every patient to maintain a functional, pain free, confident smile. Richard also carries out general and cosmetic dentistry including full mouth reconstructions and smile makeovers achieving some truly stunning results, transforming smiles and restoring patients confidence. Outside of dentistry, one of Richard's true passions is exploring the globe, experiencing many many wonders, from reaching the summit of Kilimanjaro to standing in the shadows of Everest, Richard has ticked off a fair few countries of the world. Richard dedicates a lot of his time to local schools and has been a school governor for many years, he not only takes his role very seriously but is also very proud of what he contributes to the community. From a young age Richard has played rugby, representing his schools and university. His heart is very much still in the game and he can still be seen out on the pitch in the role of a referee in amateur rugby in and around Kent.

She recently completed a weekend hands-on course to use the unique Bioclear matrix system, designed to improve the appearance of “black triangles”, the space visible once gum disease has been treated. Zelda loves interacting with patients, to educate patients by sharing knowledge in order to enable patients to maintain good oral health in the long term.
